What makes MaisonRose so special ?

The first thing that makes it so special, is its location : the savage coast of the island, only forest, flowers, and the sea. And though, the village of Pelekas is at a short walk. It is so quiet, but not isolated. There are so few places like this in the world. The second thing is that MaisonRose is not a vacations villa. It is a family house, where people really live all year long. When you come in, you are welcome by books, pictures, small ancient objects. The third thing is that it is not either one of those numerous design houses. MaisonRose has its character, that you feel immediately.

In the Kitchen

In the kitchen also, we chose SMEG, the famous italian brand for its vintage look, and accompany the aga oven, real old one, coming from Netherlands, adapted to work with gas.

And for the ones who appreciate the good wines, we installed a very good cellar, to keep your good bottles at the right temperature.

The garden is green, flowered all year.

The veranda is the place to spend wonderful meals with friends and family, watching the forest and the sea.

In every corner, good old times are not far

We took a long time to search and discover nice objects that have a soul, to buy paintings that reflects the Mediterranean light.

A magnifiscent mediterranean garden

The garden is nicely maintained with the swimming pool sitting on a lower level at the right side of the house. All this area is stone tiles as well as the swimming pool. There is a covered area just before it. It is also ideal for dining, relaxing protected from the sun in the hot summer days.

The property overlooks the beautiful west coast which is so different from the east one. The scenery here is spectacular and wild. Hills and cliffs separate the different long and sandy beaches which are located 800m away.

The quality of the materials

Stone and bricks are MaisonRose’s marks of personality. The classical exterior style hides a very stylish and warm interior. Most of the materials that have been used in the villa are restored and reused due to the designer’s wish to build a charming atmosphere. Many of those came from a neoclassical house that was demolished in Athens while others are local and from Corfu Town.

SONOS music

MaisonRose offers the best quality of music and the latest WIFI technology. Sonos speakers are installed all over the villa, and you can choose either to listen to the same program or your own, directly on your iphone.

Netflix for free

The tv is configured to allow our guests to continue following their favourite series, confortably installed in the coach.

A french villa in Corfu

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor – one en-suite – a separate bathroom, the cloakroom and the laundry room. On the first floor is the beautiful master bedroom, a second bedroom and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have wooden floors and wooden beamed ceilings.
